Radiographic Testing Level II offers an in-depth exploration of the techniques and code compliance requirements for performing high-quality radiographic inspections. This course goes beyond the basics, providing a comprehensive understanding of how to select and apply the correct radiographic techniques for a range of materials and inspection scenarios. Students will gain practical knowledge of equipment setup, image quality, and defect identification, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet industry standards.In this course, we cover:

- An overview of various testing applications for radiography
- Different types of radiographic equipment and their functions
- The advantages and limitations of radiographic testing methods
- Identifying indications and defects in radiographs
- Proper reporting and recording of radiographic findings
Upon completion of this course, students will understand:
- How geometry, setup, and source size impact the quality of radiographic images
- The different types of radiographic film and their specific purposes
- Various film techniques, including their advantages and disadvantages
- How to perform and document radiographic examinations in compliance with applicable code requirements
The course includes 12 hours of hands-on training, where instructors will guide students through practical scenarios they will encounter as Level II Radiographers. This includes setting up exposures, creating techniques, and developing radiographs. Students will also have the opportunity to develop, grade, and evaluate their own radiographs, reinforcing their understanding of the techniques and ensuring competence in real-world applications.
Upon successful completion, participants will earn 40 total hours of accredited classroom training, with knowledge assessed through an exam. This course meets the requirements of SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and NAS-410 and aligns with ANSI/ASNT CP-105 standards.
