This course intended to introduce people to Nondestructive Testing by getting them acquainted with what is considered to be the core methods of NDT. (Visual, Liquid penetrant, Magnetic particle, Radiographic, and Ultrasonic Testing methods)
This course is perfect for anyone thinking of either entering the Inspection field, delegating inspection personnel, or organizing inspections for a fabricator.
This course includes a 3hr hands-on training on each topic. These hours include an instructor demonstration of various types of NDE equipment, techniques & applications. 40 Total Hours of classroom training are accredited to students after successful completion by demonstration of knowledge by exam. All topics and materials covered in NDE course are as required by ANSI/ASNT CP-105.

My experience taking this class was overall amazing, the instructor not only piqued my interest in UT. He completely makes me want to learn more about it! I like how he went into depth with teaching as much as possible. The resources were great, hands on and in the book!
Mr. Theo Young is the greatest API 570 instructor I have ever had. The way he takes time to help everyone understand with visuals throughout his unique power points helps everyone truly understand what is being given in the code. The extra quizzes, homework, and tests help you be confident in passing the exam. Mr. Young always went out of his way to show up early and stay late, leaving the doors open for questions at any time. I just hope he starts 510 soon.
I took the ISQ prep course through Refined , Theo Young is by far one of the best and most knowledgeable instructors I’ve ever met. I would highly recommend anyone planning on taking the ISQ to take their course. I will say this though, make sure that you are prepared and know your UTT meter and it’s functions well as it will make the course easier.
Mr. Young performed beyond expectations on a major capital project, his knowledge of standards and ability to quickly grasp company specifications was key to completing the project on time. His ability to take on multiple roles throughout the changing phases of a capital project and NDE knowledge was greatly appreciated.
Theo was amazing at helping me understand UT concepts others couldn't. Most definitely, the best instructor I've ever had.
