Mr. Young is very knowledgeable in his department as well as an inspiration in this industry. Being an ex co-worker of mine and a dear friend I would work for and with him any time. If inspection services/consulting is what your looking for then you came to the right place. He's a great teacher and many great students will definitely come out of his classroom.
The instructor put the class into perspective where everybody could understand. He was a technician just like we are and could relate better to us.
I liked everything about the instructor he was very detailed and knowledgeable.
I passed the ISQ exam by taking the ISQ preparatory course with Refined Inspection Services. My instructor, Theo Young, went above and beyond to help me understand the subject matter and provided extra opportunities to practice. I appreciate the learning environment Mr. Young provided. His vast knowledge in his field of instruction made me feel confident in my abilities. Thank you Refined NDT!
Theo was amazing at helping me understand UT concepts others couldn't. Most definitely, the best instructor I've ever had.
I was very fortunate to attend the ndt gym setting at Refined and was very impressed. Theo was not only very helpful but has created a great environment. Along with the test specimens he has an excellent library you can browse through to help you visually see the different characteristics of various defects. He was more than willing to answer any questions I had and even gave me some good tips to better my technique. If you want to tighten up on your technique or flaw detection I would strongly recommend you hit the gym at Refined. It’s definitely a great place to work out!
